TECHNOLOGY

 

DEVICES FOR STUDENTS

  • Schools will continue to support students that do not have access to a device through a school process. All students requiring technology to learn will be provided a device.

PROVISIONS FOR ACCESSIBLE FORMATS / ONLINE PLATFORMS

Schools will work with students with disabilities to provide accessible platforms including:

  • Prescribed Assistive Technology (SEA)/software;
  • Seesaw will be used for students from Grades K-2 and Google Classroom will be used for students in Grades 3-8.

INTERNET CONNECTIVITY FOR STUDENTS

  • TNCDSB will continue to support families (case-by-case) with Internet connectivity through a process of Principal referral to the Information Technology Department.
