  Aboriginal Education This strategy includes initiatives that support learning and achievement for Aboriginal students.
  Character Development Program   develop school environments in which all people - students, teachers, administrators and support staff - treat each other with care and respect.
  Dual Credits Program   high school students can earn a number of credits by participating in apprenticeship training and postsecondary courses that count towards both their high school diploma and their postsecondary diploma, degree, or apprenticeship certification.
  E-Learning Ontario   E-Learning Ontario - Online tools, courses, and learning resources for students and teachers.
  Expansion of Co-op  high school students in Ontario can now apply two co-op credits towards their core graduation requirements
  Lighthouse Projects  Helps students who need extra support and attention to stay in school, accumulate needed credits, and take programs linked to colleges; they encourage youth who have left school to return. Example: Credit Recovery programs
  Ontario District School Board Progress Reports   Each year, the Ministry reports on the progress of all Ontario School Boards across nine indicators.
  Ontario Prospects  Annual career planning guide for high school students, educators, job counsellors and others seeking career information
  Ontario Skills Passport    Web-based resource that provides clear descriptions of the skills used in virtually all occupations, as well as important work habits. It also provides employers with a consistent method of assessing and recording the demonstration of these skills and work habits in the workplace.
  Special Education  Programs and services, consisting of instruction and assessments that are different from those provided to the general student population, are offered to students who have behavioural, communicational, intellectual, physical or multiple exceptionalities, allowing them to succeed in the school environment.
  Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM)    A specialized ministry-approved program that allows students to focus on knowledge and skills of a particular economic sector and to obtain certifications recognized in those sectors, as they work towards meeting their Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
