What is Full-Day Kindergarten?
Ontario is implementing full-day kindergarten for four- and five-year-olds with a seamless and integrated day that includes:
Each child is unique and exceptional
Children arrive at school with different backgrounds, experiences and are at different stages of development. Teachers and parents working together can provide learning experiences that will build each student's confidence and give everyone the best possible start.
"Every experience in a child's early life has an impact of his/her development now and in the future. Parents and families are the first and most powerful influence on children's early learning and development. Young children and their families live in communities that shape early experiences."
|We encourage you to contact your school Principal to talk about the Kindergarten program and how the program will support your child's educational adventure.|
