Our Lady of the Way School
Principal's Message

It is hard to believe that our school year has come to an end. I can honestly say that I have had an incredible year, despite all of the challenges we have faced. I am thankful for all of the new students that have come into my life, as well as their families. I am grateful for all of the staff at Our Lady of the Way, as we have all come together to create the best year for our students. I would like to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication, it has been a year like no other.

June is a very exciting year, especially our Grade 8 students. Congratulations to Dawnas Horton, Our Lady of the Way's Grade 8 graduate! I am very honoured to have been able to get to know Dawnas over the past year. She is an exceptional student and person, and I know that she will do great things. Dawnas, we wish you the best of luck in high school!

Dr. Seuss once said "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened" and this is a message I will take with me as we end the school year. Although we are ending our year apart, I will look back on the memories we created together as a family at Our Lady of the Way, and I will smile. We are a small school with a big heart and I am proud to be a part of this amazing school family.

I would like to wish Mr. Greg Turner the best of luck, as he takes a job at St. Mary School in Fort Frances. Thank you Mr. Turner for being a part of our school team and for giving the students great hands on learning opportunities! We wish you all the best!

I hope that everyone has an enjoyable summer break, you all deserve it! I am excited to return in the fall with our staff and students to embark on an amazing learning journey together! Thank you all for welcoming me into your school community, I am truly honoured to be a Voyageur!

God Bless,

Meghan Bourgeois
