Our Lady of the Way School
Principal's Message

I would like to welcome all returning and new Our Lady of the Way students and families to the 2020-2021 school year. Although our last school year was cut short, I hope that you were able to find some sun this summer and enjoy your families, while we adapted to our new normal. I would like to thank all of the teaching and support staff for their hand work in preparing for this year.

I am very excited to be back at Our Lady of the Way as the school Principal. I started my teaching career at Our Lady of the Way and I am very happy to be back, it feels just like coming home, just like John Denver's song says "Country roads, take me home, to the place I belong". I look forward to getting to know and working with the students, staff, parents, parish and community.

This fall my children will be return to St. Mary School in Fort Frances. My son Jackson will heading into Grade 4 and my daughter Katy will be in Year 2 of the Kindergarten Program. Both of my children love school and I think they are quite happy to not have mom around to check in on them during the day.

A special welcome goes out to our new Our Lady of the Way staff. Welcome to Mr. Greg Turner who will be our Grade 5-8 and Native Language teacher and to Mrs. Katie Ableman, who will be working in Mrs. Wood's classroom.

I look forward to meeting you and speaking with you. I can be reached by phone (483-5477) and    e-mail (mbourgeois@tncdsb.on.ca) if you have any questions or concerns.

Here's to a great year at OLOW!

God Bless,

Meghan Bourgeois
