Ensuring you are registered as a separate school supporter is important for the protection and preservation of Catholic education in Ontario.
As a registered Catholic school supporter, you have the opportunity to elect trustees who will represent and address your interests and concerns at the school board level and at various levels of the government.
Registering your Catholic school support ensures your school board's assessment roll is accurate. This is important because:

Your school board's assessment base is a public record of the breadth of support for Catholic schools;
It helps track demographic trends for educational planning purposes;
It guarantees your right to enroll your children in Catholic schools.

Use Voter Registration to check, update, add or remove your information from the voters list. You must upload one piece of ID showing both your name and home address, unless you are requesting a name change.

How to Direct Your Catholic School Support Online Via MPAC

MPAC has created a new online option for parents to update their school support without the need of the current paper direction of school support form. Catholic parents and property owners can visit the following website to begin the online process of updating their school support.

Visit the MPAC School Support Webpage

Select whether you are a "Property Owner" or "Property Tenant"

If "Property Owner" is selected, you will be directed to click on the link for: "AboutMyProperty". This will take you to the log-in screen.

New users will be asked to enter their property's assessment roll number & access key. This information is found on their Property Assessment Notice.

After you login, click on the "View My Property Details" link. This will take you to the page where you can update your property's direction of school support.

Once on the Profile Summary and Property Information webpage, scroll down to your property details.

Confirm your "school support" and click the "edit" function on the far right to update to "English Separate (Catholic)" if applicable. Once updated click the save button.

Have you Moved?

Even if you have been an English Catholic supporter in the past, the designation does not follow you when you relocate. Anytime you purchase new property you must re-declare yourself as a Catholic school supporter.
