Mathematics

The Northwest Catholic District School Board is committed to providing students with a mathematics program that focuses on the fundamental concepts and skills outlined in the 2020 Ontario Mathematics Curriculum. These skills include:

Becoming an effective problem-solver
Acknowledging a variety of mathematical perspectives
Fostering a positive attitude towards mathematics
Making connections between mathematics and everyday life

The Northwest Catholic District School Board is collaborating with schools and teachers to foster life-long learners in mathematics by focusing on areas of ongoing professional development and practice, through out Mathematics Achievement Action Plan.
